How to Configure SSO with Entra ID (Azure AD)

PREREQUISITES:
1. Administrator access to your Microsoft Entra ID portal.
2. Your unique ToolSense subdomain (referred to as BRAND in this guide).

Step 1: Create an App Registration

1. Log in to the Microsoft Entra admin center.

2. Navigate to Identity > Applications > App registrations.

3. Click on New registration.

4. Enter a name for the application (e.g., "ToolSense SSO").

5. Set "Supported account types" to Accounts in this organizational directory only (Single tenant).

Step 2: Configure Redirect URLs

You must add the specific Redirect URIs to allow authentication across Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Please add the following Web Redirect URIs:

IMPORTANT: Replace BRAND in the URLs below with the specific subdomain of your ToolSense link.

Example: If your URL is https://cleaning.toolsense.io, then your BRAND is cleaning.

• https://cleaning.toolsense.io/auth/sso/web/cleaning/azure

Please configure these 3 URLs:

1. Web: https://BRAND.toolsense.io/auth/sso/web/BRAND/azure

2. iOS: https://api.toolsense.io/auth/sso/ios/BRAND/azure

3. Android: https://api.toolsense.io/auth/sso/android/BRAND/azure

Step 3: Generate a Client Secret

1. In your new App Registration menu, go to Certificates & secrets.

2. Click New client secret.

3. Add a description and select an expiration period that suits your security policies.

4. Click Add.

Note: Copy the Value of the client secret immediately. You will not be able to see it again after you leave the page.

Step 4: Send Configuration to Support

Once the setup is complete, please send the following three pieces of information to our support team to finalize the integration.

Required Information:

1. Application (client) ID

2. Directory (tenant) ID

3. Client secret value
