Vehicle tracking without additional data

Using Hawks to track the location and trips of your car can be an easy install.

With this setup, you only get information about location and trips of your car. No specific vehicle data like engine rpm, or fuel level will be reported.

The setup requires connecting three wires in your vehicle.

Prerequisites

In order for the trips to show up on the Trips page, the Asset Type has to be set up as a vehicle.

Please remember that Asset Overview is updated hourly. You can get more frequent updates about live and historical trips in the Trips tab on the platform.
