How to Suggest Translation Changes
To suggest changes to our translations, follow these simple steps:
1. Visit the Weblate Platform
Go to weblate.toolsense.dev. This is where you can view and contribute to the translations for ToolSense.
2. Select a Language
On the Weblate homepage, you will see a list of available languages. Click on "Browse all languages" to see the full list of languages we support.
3. Choose Your Language
Find and select the language you want to suggest changes for. For example, if you want to suggest a change for Hungarian, click on "Hungarian".
4. Search for the Term
Once you have selected your language, you can search for the specific term you want to suggest changes for. For instance, if you want to suggest a change for the Hungarian term for "ticket," you would search for "jegy".
5. View and Edit the Translation
After searching for the term, you will see the current translation alongside the English term. If you believe there is a better translation or improvement, click on the term to view more details.
Here, you will see:
Explanation of where the term is used
Current translation in both English and the selected language
Edit the translation field with your suggested change and click "Suggest" to submit your improvement.
6. Review Similar Terms
If you think the term you are editing might be used in other parts of the platform, you can check for similar terms suggested by the platform. This helps ensure consistency across translations.
7. Submit Your Suggestion
After editing the term, make sure you click on "Suggest" to submit your proposed change.
8. What Happens Next?
Your suggestion will be reviewed by our team, usually on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. If your suggestion is accepted, it will be incorporated into the next release of the platform.
