What are the capabilities of each user role?

Every user only gets its rights for its assigned group and below, and never to groups above. So if you decide to add a regional manager with admin rights to a subgroup, that manager will not have access to root group (assets, users, …) or any other group above or in other branches.

All User Roles

• Login on Web (my.toolsense.io)

• Login on Mobile App (Android, iOs)

Admin User

• Has access to everything in the Organization menu

  • Can manage Users

  • Can manage the group structure

  • Can manage Service Packages

  • And other elements to check in the Menu

• Has Editor user rights on top

Editor

• No access to the Organization menu

• Can manage (create, delete, edit) everything related to inventory

  • Assets

  • Sites

  • Tickets

• Has Standard user rights on top

Standard User

• No access to the Organization menu

• Can not manage (create, delete, edit) Assets & Sites

• Can do

  • Add events in histories (assets, sites, ...)

  • Upload documents

  • Add costs

  • Generate QR codes

  • Change parts stock level

  • Change ticket state

  • Comment on tickets

  • Change ticket assignee

  • Create views

User rights independent from user roles
