Runtime tracking

Track the runtime (ON time) of your machines along with two additional inputs and location.

Wiring

RED ---> BATTERY+ (constant 10-30V)

BLACK ---> BATTERY-

YELLOW/DIN1 ---> IGNITION

GREEN-WHITE/DIN2 ---> OPTIONAL

WHITE/DIN3 ---> OPTIONAL

IGNITION: This will indicate the ON time of your machine, showing up as green bars on the platform under the Runtime pane in the Statistics tab.

This input detects positive voltages ranging from 7-30V. Make sure to wire it to a spot in the machine where voltage is present when the machine is turned ON and voltage is absent when the machine is turned OFF, otherwise the installation will not work properly.

GREEN-WHITE/WHITE: It is possible to get green bars for two additional inputs, similarly to the picture above. You can wire those inputs to anything you would like to track as long as the voltage ranges from 2.5V-30V representing ON state/activity. The same logic applies in terms of voltage being present and absent.

With cleaning machines, the inputs usually track brush motors and vacuum motors.

You can track the green bars under the corresponding menu item under the Statistics pane.

The renaming of the inputs is currently not possible. However, you can set the "Asset integration type" of an Asset Type to have those named Suction Motor and Brush Motor respectively. In this case, make sure that you install all devices the same way otherwise the displayed data will not be correct.

Ground Detection

Some machines might switch ground to activate a motor. In such a case we can invert the logic on the software side only on the additional inputs DIN2 (green-white) and DIN3 (WHITE).

The ignition (DIN1) has to be positive switched. If your machine’s ignition is negative switched, you need to install a relay.

This type of configuration has a separate order code.

An obsolete version of this configuration could only be used with a relay exclusively on DIN2. If you would like to use that configuration, please contact us seperately.
