Rocbird2 is a 4G IoT device, suited to track the location of your assets along with providing logs (green bars on the platform) and/or trips of your machines and vehicles.
Rocbird2 is a battery powered device (3xAA with the BLE version and 2xAA without BLE) meant to make installation seamless and easy while aiming to provide almost the same functionalities as it's wired siblings.
Rocbird2 tracks trips or runtime exclusively based on accelerometer data, meaning it detects vibration and change of inertia.
Rocbird2 has a variant with BLE and one without BLE. The latter is a viable option if you don't require the tracking of nearby BLE assets and would like to reduce costs.
Here is an overview of all the different use cases we support with our Rocbird2 devices.
In each article you can find information about setting up the device for the specific use case with additional relevant information about limitations.
