The Sirin Sensor is a BLE tag which will not only provide location information when detected by a tag but also some environmental data like temperature and humidity and information about detected movements.

Movement Counter
Sirin Sensor is capable of detecting movement with its built in accelerometer. When movement is detected, an internal counter is incremented with every advertisement interval, but what does this mean exactly?
You can estimate how much time the tag spent moving during a certain time window.
Our tags come with a default advertisement interval of five seconds.

Let’s look at the above picture showing data from a Sirin Sensor.
If the tag measured 22 movements in one hour, it means that it was moving 22×5=110 seconds from 11:00-11:59.
Battery state
Since the lifetime on the battery depends on a lot of environmental factors, it’s not possible to get an accurate measurement. We deliberately show a lower battery percentage so that users can act quickly and replace the tag if necessary before they lose any information due to a dead tag.
